It is safe to say that you and your family adore your pet, however there may be times your pet does not follow commands, leaps on visitors, or displays aggressive or destructive behavior. From the simpler to the more complex of behavioral or listening problems, the solution is within your reach.

With our training and supervision, your dog's behavior can be modified so that he/she can behave in a proper manner- without taking away the happy pet you love. Rest assured, we do not use violence or harsh techniques, nor do we utilize treats, food, or material rewards in training. Instead, we use verbal communication, body language, redirection, praise, and positive reinforcement.

Training includes basic manners and obedience commands (i.e. "sit", "stay", "down", etc.), listening skills and leash management, as well as behavioral modification as needed (i.e. jumping, chewing, aggression, etc.) Our goal is to work with you and your pet so that you may lead healthy, peaceful lives together.

Melissa Cate of D.O.G.(Dog Obedience Guide) provides in home training as well as board training at her facility. Both Stedman, Boomer Jr and several of our clients have benefitted from Melissa's patience and excellent knowledge of all breeds.

Melissa's Bio:

Graduate of UGA. I have been training dogs for seven years. I have worked with over 1,000 dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperments.

I own 4 dogs of my own. 2 boxers a border collie and a lab mix.

My 7.5 yr old boxer, Zeek CD, NJP, NAP, OAP, AD, APD, PJM, PKM, PRM

He is nationally ranked in agility and competed in the USDAA nationals in 2010.  He also competes in Dock Diving, and Schutzhund.My 3 yr old BC, Mckenzie competes in agility.

My 2 yr old Boxer, Addie is in training for agility. And my lab mix, Nemo is a family pet who loves his brother and sisters and his back yard.

• Board Training available which includes all training and boarding
• Includes 1 Hour (+/- as needed) of one-on-one training
• Trainers will work with you to pre-arrange sessions
